Superwash Merino Worsted is a beautiful worsted weight yarn crafted from 100% Superwash Merino wool. A companion to our other much-loved superwash merino yarns, the yarn is spun from 21-micron merino fibers, and delivers a next-to-skin softness with excellent stitch definition. It’s a versatile choice for a wide range of dyeing techniques and finished projects.

Superwash Merino Worsted is constructed with four plies, providing enhanced durability, balanced twist, and a round profile that takes up colour evenly while maintaining structure in the final fabric. The yarn absorbs dye reliably, with minimal bleeding, allowing for crisp colour results and repeatable batches.

The merino has been specially treated to enable the yarn and finished garments to be machine-washed on a wool programme.
