Terms and Shipping Costs

​Prices

We wholesale Undyed Yarns, Manos Del Uruguay and Addi needles to retailers, hand dyers and other businesses. We do not sell directly to the public but you can buy our products from one of our wonderful stockists – see stockist page for each brand.

​If you would like wholesale prices for any of our products, please do not hesitate to email us here. Don’t forget to tell us which of our yarns or needles you would like prices for!

​Opening an Account and Ordering 

We aim to make opening an account and ordering as easy as possible. To open an account and order online, click here.  If you prefer to order by phone or email – we just need to know your contact and delivery details, the product and quantity you would like to order.

​Samples and Shade Cards

We are happy to send free shade cards and samples of particular products you may be interested in.

For our undyed yarns, this means you can test dye and knit new yarns before you order. Undyed yarn samples are approx. 20g.

 Please email us to request a sample or shade card. Don’t forget to tell us which yarns or needles you would like samples of and to include your postal address!

​Minimum Order Quantities

For Addi Needles and Manos Del Uruguay the minimum order value is £200 excluding VAT. Addi items can now be ordered in individual units. 

NB: For Manos Del Uruguay yarns only – you can order these by the skein (e.g. you can buy one skein of one colour). Your overall order value must be at least £200, but can include other products such as Addi needles and/or undyed yarns.

For undyed yarns – the minimum total order quantity is 5kg. This can be made up of 1kg of a variety of yarns.

​Shipping Charges

Shipping rates vary according to destination and order value. In the UK parcels are sent either by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or next day courier. Shipping to all other destinations is by courier.

​UK – Shipping is £7.50 for orders below £300 excl VAT. For orders over £300 excl VAT shipping is free.

Mainland Europe – Delivery will be via tracked courier service:

Shipping to customers in Germany: 0-20kg = €15; 20-40kg = €30; 40-60kg = €45.

Shipping to other EU countries: 0-20kg = €25; 20-40kg = €50; 40-60kg = €75.

Shipping to ​​USA:

US orders are shipped by courier (FedEx Ground).^*

^* Other US shipping services are available e.g. Fedex Express. Please include a note with your order and we will provide a cost upon request.

Some zip codes in more remote areas of the USA are subject to a shipping surcharge of $15.

​Other Locations – Shipping is quoted upfront for each order depending on weight / volume.

​Payment Terms

UK Customers – Payment for the 1st order is prior to dispatch. 30 day credit terms can be agreed on a customer by customer basis for subsequent orders

​Non UK Customers – Payment is prior to dispatch for all orders.

​Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit/debit card. For customers paying by bank transfer, the customer is to pay their own bank’s charges. Any charges incurred by our bank will be covered by Rooster Yarns.

Please note all invoices must be paid in the currency stated on the invoice. We can not accept payments if they are converted into a different currency.

​Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

You have the right to cancel any goods ordered, from the point at which they are ordered, up until the point at when they are dispatched and a full refund will be given.

​If goods have been dispatched, you may return unwanted items in re-saleable condition within 7 days of receipt and a refund will be provided.

As soon we have received and checked that your goods are in resalable condition we will issue you a refund and send you a confirmation via email.

​Faulty, defective or wrongly delivered goods will be fully refunded or replaced (whichever you prefer), including the original and return postage costs. This is only if the fault is not due to misuse, use against the manufacturer’s recommendations or reasonable wear and tear.
