Dye uptake

Undyed, easy-wash treated yarn typically takes dye more vividly than a
non-superwash yarn, as the treatment slightly smooths the fibre surface and improves dye uptake. However, it does not absorb colour quite as intensely as a superwash-treated yarn. The end result is somewhere between the two – making easy-wash yarn a strong, more environmentally friendly option for dyers who still want bright, saturated results.
