Description:

Fine Yak 4 Ply is 4/17nm in construction with 425m per 100g. It is a sumptuous blend of super soft, extra fine merino wool (19.5 micron), silk and yak. The merino provides warmth and stretch to the yarn while the mulberry silk gives good tensile strength and a smooth luxurious sheen. The yak fibres adds a certain exotic interest to this yarn and also a surprising softness quite similar to alpaca. Fine Yak 4 Ply is a popular choice for those wanting a luxury non superwash yarn.

This yarn has not been superwash treated. The merino used is mulesing free and comes from South America.
