Description:

Organic Cotton 4-Ply (GOTS certified) is a beautifully soft 100% vegan yarn sourced from sustainable organic cotton farms. A standard fibre for crocheters, this ultra soft cotton has a delicious drape, stitch definition and a slight shine that shows off any method of dyeing.

Please note – 100% plant fibre yarns require reactive dyes like tie-dyes or Procion dyes and soda ash. Using acid dyes will not permenantly dye this yarn. These dyes are available alongside acid dyes at most craft stores.

“As an artistic hand dyer, I am always scouting for unique yarns. When I first got this Organic Cotton in my hands, I was immediately hooked on this pure cellulose sock yarn and imagined many fabulous summer socks, shawls and tops to be created! The first test dye was a total success, the colour took very well and the cotton remained amazingly soft after drying. This organic cotton sock yarn is perfect for anyone who would like a wonderful alternative to ordinary woollen sock yarn and it practically knits itself!”
