Our Premium Mohair Sock yarn is a fine blend of 21 micron superwash merino, kid mohair and recycled nylon. Providing a luxuriously soft handle, the mohair content adds extra durability as well as boosting the effect of dyes.

The merino fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not ‘felt’ when dyed or washed.

The Mohair in this yarn is certified by the Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS), which helps ensure the goats are treated well and their grazing lands are cared for responsibly. From farm to final sale, every step meets strict standards for animal welfare, land use, and fair practices.
