Description:

Our Superwash Merino 4 Ply is made with 100% superwashed merino wool.  We deliberately use a fine 21 micron merino fibre in the yarn so it has a soft handle and is not itchy or scratchy next to the skin.

The wool has a natural elasticity which helps a merino garment to stretch yet return back to its original shape. The fibres have been specially treated before being spun so the yarn can be machine washed and will not ‘felt’.

Mulesing free and from South America, the yarn is 100% animal fibre and perfect for dyeing. Naturally a bright white colour, the yarn dyes up well in subtle light shades or bright and vibrant colours. For bright vibrant colours we recommend using acid or natural dyes.
