Description:
This yarn uses 100% Bluefaced Leicester superwash wool from sheep in the British Isles bought from the British Wool Marketing Board. The Bluefaced Leicester sheep breed is well known for producing some of the finest British yarns – it’s wonderfully soft (26 micron) and has a characteristic lustre or silkiness, making it wonderful to work with.
BFL superwash 4 ply is made with 100% superwashed BFL wool. This means the fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore it will not ‘felt’ when dyed or washed. It is a great easy-care yarn.
